The Physio

Mark is an Extended Scope Physiotherapist and the owner of Physiotherapy Now. 

He studied Physiotherapy at the University of Ulster and qualified in 2011, he has completed numerous post graduate courses including injection therapy and specialises in sports injuries, back pain and musculoskeletal conditions.

Upon qualification he relocated to England and started his career with a large private physiotherapy company, and within the company he held managerial, regional and national roles.

Whilst in England he worked for various sports teams, in particular Newcastle United Football Club. Upon returning home he took up a role with Antrim GAA as the lead physiotherapist for the senior hurling team, during that time the team secured two All-Ireland trophies and secured / retained division 1 status. He has also worked with the Belfast Giants and Ulster Rugby as part of the physiotherapy team.

Additionally he is a certified EXOS performance specialist, strength coach, oxygen advantage instructor, holds nutrition certifications and has completed an MSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Medicine at the Univeristy of Ulster.
